At 0700 hrs 3 May we motored out of Las Galletas marina. By 0730 the wind picked up to a NNE3 and we had a very pleasant gentle sail over to La Gomera with almost clear skies, with Mt Teide clearly visible.
The wind later came round to an ESE 4
The fast ferry from Los Christianos overtook us
Unlike the previous time we sailed to La Gomera, there was no acceleration zone, presumably as the wind was not from the NE.All 3 ferries that serve La Gomera were in the port of San Sebastian when we arrived.
