0930 hrs 23rd September 2016 we drove with Tom & Annie northwards along the coastroad from Santa Cruz.
In between two tunnels is the carpark for the start of the Cubo de Galga hike - Rothers Walking Guide nr 10

The hike takes one up the Barranco de la Galga through primeval cloud forests
Miradorde la Somada Alta
After the walk we drove to the delightful Charco Azul for a refreshing swim
Followed by another superb fresh fish lunch
We finished off the day at the Teatro Circo de Marte where we listened to Benehano & Juan Carlos (guitar and singing) and the Tajadre traditional music group - male choir to the accompaniment of a guitar and other string instrument orchestra - delightful
