2017 Hike Gran Canaria Bandama Crater 2nd April

0915 hrs Mike & Charlotte walked from Las Palmas Marina to the Telmo bus station and caught the 0955 hrs Global nr 211 bus to Bandama. We then walked anticlockwise around the rim of the crater - Rother's Walking Guide nr 64.

We had forgotten that parts of the route are steep, slippery slopes of volcanic ash - hiking sticks are recommended!

 

 After circumnavigating the crater rim we climbed via the road to the Pico de Bandama which has superb all round views

Caught the 12.57 hrs nr 211 bus back to Las Palmas
